If you are to use the discs to reinstall, it is likely because you are unhappy with the factory settings and the discs from the Dell DataSafe will give you exactly the same as the factory settings.

iso and use it to make discs opposed to using the Dell DataSafe to create the discs. iso from digital river as outlined in my guide below. You may pick what method to do. We can use Windows anytime upgrade (which is installed in Win 7 Home Premium) program, enter your valid Win 7 Ultimate Product Key. I could have easily done a clean install using an ultimate. I therefore still have the Dell logos etc. I personally have had some problems with my factory image (not to do with the Ultimate Upgrade - were present with the Factory settings and windows updates to Service Pack 1 with no upgrade) and subsequently done a clean install with the Dell discs. It will act as if you had Ultimate preinstalled by Dell. When you upgrade to Ultimate however all the preinstalled settings Dell have will be there, the Dell logos will still be in computer properties etc. You will need to activate Windows via internet everytime you upgrade aswell however it will work fine as you are always upgrading the same computer. Every time you restore your PC to factory settings you will have Home Premium and will have to do the windows anytime upgrade to get Ultimate again. I never made the factory discs with the Dell DataSafe Program as I got the 7 Home Premium 圆4 DVD with my Dell but if I did they would be Home Premium.
